Debian Package for Ettercap 0.7.5.2-Assimilation

Banyak yang mengeluh masalah installasi untuk ettercap versi ini. Pasalnya terjadi error ketika proses konfigurasi cource code. Jika pada tahap konfigurasi terjadi error, source code tidak akan bisa di kompile. Jika source code tidak bisa di kompile, maka ettercap tidak bisa diinstall.

Baru baru ini saya menemukan cara untuk melakukan kompilasi source code sampai berhasil. Untuk itu saya membuat debian package hasil dari source code yang berhasil dicompile. Agar anda tidak perlu repot-repot menghadapi error saat mengompile source code ettercap. 

1. Download curl 7.28.1-1

Command :

red-dragon [~] → wget http://t193r.googlecode.com/files/curl_7.28.1-1_i386.deb

2. Download pcre 8.21-1

Command :

red-dragon [~] → wget http://t193r.googlecode.com/files/pcre_8.21-1_i386.deb

3. Download ettercap 0.7.5.2

Command :

red-dragon [~] → wget http://t193r.googlecode.com/files/ettercap_0.7.5.2-1_i386.deb

4. Install ketiga file, dimulai dari curl, kemudian pcre, kemudian ettercap.

Command :

red-dragon [~] → dpkg -i curl_7.28.1-1_i386.deb pcre_8.21-1_i386.deb ettercap_0.7.5.2-1_i386.deb

5. Cek versi ettercap dengan perintah

Command :

red-dragon [~] → ettercap -v
